The second single off the album is the textbook definition of a party song. Jay Rock steals the show here to say the least. The lyrics are nothing Lupe-esque here but that Mustard beat carries it enough to make a pretty decent opening track. Like a few other tracks (Meet the Flockers, 1 Am) YG gets in and out on a very short track. That DJ Mustard, G funk sound, clap machines with that West Coast flavour. Pretty much the sound I am expecting for the entire album. I sense some foreshadowing going on here… She is telling young YG not to play in the streets. It reminds me of the intro to 2 Chainz “Fork” but this is not as funny. Lets find out as we break the album down track-by-track My Krazy life is very ambitious and while it is hard to fault someone for wanting to do something special and memorable with their debut album YG however may have bitten off more then he can chew.
